Fundamental
Social Service Support (Course Code 39)

This
course is divided into four stages. The first and second
stages are scheduled in the first and second terms of S4.
The third stage is in the summer vacation and the fourth
stage is in the first term of S5. The learner-focused curriculum
enables students to have a comprehensive understanding of
social services. It helps students develop a global perspective
and critical thinking; and identify the morals and values
of social service practitioners. The learning activities
will include multi-practice, interactive and collaborative
elements, in order for students on one hand to gain an understanding
of the sector of social service, and on the other hand to
empower themselves through enhancing their communication
and interpersonal skills.

Yi Yin (Certificate in Social Service and Practice programme), through
