This
course introduces the basic principles, concepts and techniques
in financial accounting. It enables students to apply the
basic accounting knowledge to business situations through
exposing them to a variety of operation contexts commonly
found in the sector of the small and medium enterprises.

various kinds of reports of a given period for the purpose of management

Prospect:

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be granted
the HKAAT Certified Accounts Clerk (CAC) qualification (without
having to take the Book-keeping and Accounts Examination and Computerized
Accounts Examination). |

Students
equipped with the CAC qualification are able to start their career
in the profession or they can further their studies by attempting
the eight-paper Accounting Technician Examinations to obtain the
professional status of HKAAT. |

Scholarships
will be awarded to outstanding COC students for taking the HKAAT's
examinations. |

They
may also further their studies in relevant accounting programmes offered
by CCHES.
