We have been running the Employees Retraining Programme funded by the Employees Retraining Board since 1993 to help local employees, who are aged 30 or above, adjust to changes in the employment market arising from the economic restructuring in Hong Kong by acquiring new or enhanced vocational skills. The enrolment of the programme is basically on individual basis. There is also tailor-made training for employers, featuring their involvement in designing the curriculum and an emphasis on work ethics and company culture.

In support of the programme, we have been developing an employer network with an aim to provide up-to-date information on the ever-changing labour market conditions and to strengthen the referral service for the best benefit of both employers and employees. In order to enhance the employability of trainees, we also offer placement, career and education counseling services.
