Continuing Education Fund Reimbursable Programme

Pre-service Tourist Guide Training Course leaflet

The HKSAR Government has launched the $5 billion Continuing Education Fund since 2002 to subsidize those with learning aspirations to pursue continuing education and training programmes. The aim is to help people pursue continuing learning, thereby preparing them for the knowledge-based economy.

To ensure that funds are put to the best use, the subsidy will only be available for courses in eight specified areas/disciplines, namely, tourism industry, logistics, financial services, business services, product and digital design, language, creative industries, inter- and intra-personal skills for the workplace. In line with the Government's policy initiative, we have registered with the Education and Manpower Bureau an array of reimbursable courses for the purpose of the Continuing Education Fund. All these courses have undergone rigorous assessment conducted by the Hong Kong Council for Academic Accreditation, and Caritas is the first institution in Hong Kong that affords programmes covering the foregoing eight areas/disciplines.
