We have established the Student Financial Aid Scheme (the Scheme) under a revolving fund since 1995 to provide our full-time students with loans to alleviate their financial difficulties in their course of studies. Eligible students can apply for a maximum of two loans throughout a three-year course and the maximum amount of each loan is half of a term's tuition fee.
In order to motivate our students to pursue academic excellence, a number of scholarships are awarded to them under the Scheme.

In the spirit of Lent, grants have been approved by the Diocesan Lenten Collection Allocation Committee to assist full-time and part-time students experiencing financial difficulties. The approval is subject to a means test and assistance is given to students with genuine financial needs. Grants are awarded to successful applicants by means of partial payment of the tuition fees.

Students can apply for Government Loans under the Non-means Tested Loan Scheme (NLS). The NLS provides financial assistance in the form of loans to eligible students to meet tuition fees operated on a full-cost-recovery basis.

The Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students (FASP), under the Student Financial Assistance Agency of the HKSAR Government, provides means-tested financial assistance to needy full-time students pursuing accredited, self-financing post-secondary education programmes, leading to a qualification at or above the levels of higher diploma, associate degree and/or professional diploma. Under the FASP, financial assistance is in the form of a grant or a loan. |

To encourage adult learners to strive for continuing learning opportunities, we established the Learning Passport Scheme in 1997. Holders of the Learning Passport can document their record of studies and claim learning coupons which can be used as cash upon presentation for future course registration. |
